What’s an Unreached People group?

You may have heard the term unreached people group before, but been unsure of what that term actually means. If this is you, you are not alone.

A people group is a group of people with a common language, culture, or other distinguishing feature that connects them together with a common sense of identity. There are roughly 16.000 people groups in the world today. Of the 16,000, approximately 7,050 (3.16 billion people) are still waiting to hear about Jesus.


Go ANd make disciples of all people groups

“And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” ~Matthew 28:17-20

“Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you? And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters,[c] you were doing it to me!”
